Monti's Marine & Motor Sports Staff

Christina grew up in the Industry from a small child when her dad started the company in their back yard. She has attended Boat shows, and dealer meetings with her parents as a kid and spent countless hours hanging out at the shop and working a few summers while in School. She attended University in Nanaimo where she obtained her business degree and carried on to obtain her CPA and worked as a Senior Manager in a National Accounting Firm specializing in Income Tax and advising small businesses on a variety of tax, operating and succession matters. Needing a more creative outlet she left her career at the accounting firm in 2015  to Start her own Clothing and Swim wear line (Aqua Bay Swim Co) and Manage the Family business so her parents could retire. What better mix than bikinis and boats.

After several years in the industry she still loves how fun the industry is, attending events and making new connections. Its really like a big family, everybody knows everybody.

In her spare time she loves to be in her garden, on a boat,  at the dock or anywhere close to the water and beach soaking up the sun. She loves to entertain friends and family at the lake.

If she could say one thing to our customers is that you only live once make it count, be safe and have fun!

Growing up here in the Cowichan Valley and living on Cowichan Lake most of my life I was fortunate to be able to fully experience the West Coast lifestyle. I spent many years in the automotive industry in my earlier carrier but being around boats most of my life eventually lead me to what I do today. I have now been in the Marine industry for over 20 + years doing everything from award winning Service & Sales to manager of a large Island dealership here on the island for a good portion of my career.

What I enjoy the most about what I do other than being on the water is all the customers I have made over the years and good friends many of them have become. When I see a family on the water enjoying what I have done all my life whether watersports, fishing or just floating, it is the greatest feeling of accomplishment knowing you helped make their dreams come true..

If there was one tip I could to my customers it would be “ Buy A Boat” !! in my experience I have seen it bring so many families and friends closer together , from Fishing to Watersports to Cruising. The best family time is on the water!
